The moles steal the KDUQ radio tower on orders of Professor Moliarty, who needs it to build the antenna for his Kineto Beam. After stealing the stadium, the radio tower is placed in the center and the entire construction is raised into the sky to target the moon and move it in front of the sun permanently. The darkness is exactly what the moles need to live on the surface. Out to stop them, Darkwing Duck rides the Ratcatcher up the antenna, but overdoes it and crashes into the radio tower. Though not part of the plan, the radio tower does topple and that destroys the effect of the Kineto Beam. "That Sinking Feeling"
